Corvell started with a pair that didn’t fit.
Before Corvell was a company, I was a customer. Over the years I ordered made-to-measure and bespoke pieces online from a number of different houses. Some of those experiences were excellent. Some were not. I met a size finder whose answer my own measurements contradicted. I read size charts that disagreed with themselves, and a fit promise that, read closely, didn’t cover the one thing most likely to go wrong.
The craft was rarely the problem. The trouble was everything around it: the measuring, the questions nobody asked, and the moment before payment when a small mistake quietly becomes an expensive one. Even the best houses I bought from left room to do better there.
That’s where Corvell puts its time.
- We get the measurements right before anything is made. A real person reviews every set of measurements and asks questions when something doesn’t add up.
- Size and fit are settled before you pay, not discovered after your order arrives.
- One set of numbers, one policy. What our pages say is what we do.
- Fitted with us, guaranteed. If a piece we fitted you for doesn’t fit, we alter or remake it at our cost. The First-Fit Guarantee
- If something isn’t right, you talk to a person, not a form.
In person, made-to-measure is usually a very good experience, and there is nothing quite like it. A bespoke fitting is better still: someone who measures you, asks how you like to wear things, and checks until it’s right. What’s been missing is the online equivalent. That’s what Corvell is built to be. We’d rather spend more time up front than get it wrong. That’s how we hope to earn your first order, and every one after it.
