Start from a shoe that already fits.
Tell us a brand and size you wear well, and we’ll show your probable Corvell size. It’s a starting point, not the final answer: we confirm every size with you before your pair goes into production.
Find your probable size
Want your first fit guaranteed? Your probable size is a starting point. Size with Corvell Atelier and we confirm it with you; if your pair doesn’t fit, we remake it at our cost. The First-Fit Guarantee
Choosing a chiseled toe? Not everyone fits a chiseled toe the same way. If chiseled-toe shoes have felt tight on you before, or you like a little more room in the toe, we may recommend going up a half size.
Here’s where Jesse measures up
Our founder’s own sizes across 38 brands, so you can see how one pair of feet reads from label to label.
| Brand | Size Jesse wears |

Jesse has narrow feet, so a chiseled toe doesn’t change his size: he’s a 9 in both. Two things stand out in his list. His dress shoes run from 8.5 to 9.5 depending on the brand, while most of his running shoes are a 10. Sizes vary between brands and between kinds of shoe, so compare against a dress shoe if you can, and send us your measurements too. Sizes are as each brand labels them; EU and UK sizes are marked.
How to measure your foot
- Measure in the evening. Feet swell a little through the day.
- Trace your foot. Stand on a sheet of paper in the socks you’d wear, with your weight on that foot, and trace around it with the pen held upright.
- Measure the length. From the back of the heel to the tip of the longest toe, in millimetres if you can.
- Measure the ball girth. Wrap a soft tape around the widest part of the foot, across the joints behind the toes, snug but not tight.
- Do both feet. Most people have one slightly larger foot; we size to it.
Send us your measurements with your order and we’ll check them against your brand sizes before anything is made.
